The Ministry of Labor and Social Policies deals with the design, implementation and coordination of labor policy and employment development interventions, labor protection and the adequacy of the social security system based on national legislation, social policies with particular reference to the prevention and reduction of the conditions of need and discomfort of the population.
The main areas of interest of the Ministry are: verification of employment and industrial relations, definition of the discipline of social safety nets and training, implementation of social security and insurance policies, actions to combat poverty and integration policies aimed at immigration , support for third sector subjects and social enterprise.
