The Ministry of Economic Development deals with the organization and management of the functions pertaining to the state in the fields of industry, crafts, energy and trade. The main sectors of interest refer to the secondary sector and can be grouped into three thematic areas: development of the production system, foreign trade and internationalization of the economic system, communication and information technologies. The Ministry makes use of the territorial offices of the government and, on the basis of a specific agreement, of the offices of the chambers of commerce, industry, crafts and agriculture, of the regions and local authorities.
