ODIMM Programs – Financial Support for Small and Medium Enterprises

The Organization for Small and Medium Enterprise Development (ODIMM) previously offered a wide range of financial support programs for small and medium enterprises in Moldova at the national level, with a particular emphasis on rural areas:
The National Financing and Mentoring Program for Social Enterprises supported approximately 100 social enterprises, aiming to create at least 300 new jobs through five stages: promotion, professional training, application submission, financing, and sustainability.
The PARE 1+1 Program was designed for Moldovan migrant workers wishing to return and start a business, matching every leu invested by the entrepreneur with an additional leu from the program, across three components: information and communication, entrepreneurship training, and business financing.
The “Women in Business” Program provided small-scale investments for newly created businesses and large-scale investments for growing companies, targeting women planning to start or develop a business, particularly in rural areas.
The “Start for Young People” Program offered a business voucher of up to 10,000 lei for training and consulting services, as well as investment project financing of up to 180,000 lei, targeting Moldovan citizens aged 18–35.
The Greening Program for SMEs provided consultations in the first stage and grant financing in the second stage for implementing eco-innovations, pollution prevention, waste reduction, and water resource management.
The Internationalization Program supported high-growth SMEs through a business voucher scheme (up to 50,000 lei) and a grant scheme (up to 2,000,000 lei on a 50:50 basis), aimed at attracting investments and expanding to international markets.
The Digitalization Support Program provided financial assistance for the digitalization of internal and external SME processes, following stages of selection, training, and coaching.
The Program for Participation in Fairs and Exhibitions offered up to 1,000 lei for participation fees and up to 4,000 lei (not exceeding 50%) for exhibition space rental.
