Financial Support for SMEs
The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation organizes the infrastructure for supporting small and medium-sized businesses in Russia. The program is based on the National Project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support of Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative” and the Federal Law of July 24, 2007 No. 209-FZ. To be eligible, businesses must correspond to one of three categories: micro-business (up to 15 employees, turnover up to 120 million rubles), small business (up to 100 employees, turnover up to 800 million rubles), or medium business (up to 250 employees, turnover up to 2 billion rubles). The program is available at the federal level.
