Watch the story

Anna is a disability rights activist and social entrepreneur from Tbilisi, Georgia. With no background in business, she re-founded the beloved but abandoned Café Mziuri in Mziuri Park in 2016 — transforming it into an inclusive space where disabled and non-disabled children and adults can spend time together. Starting with a single community event, she gradually built support from Tbilisi City Hall, major companies like TBC Bank and Geocell, and even received a presidential grant. Five years on, the café is a thriving community hub: the park has been renovated, events and exhibitions are held regularly, and locals of all abilities are welcome. For Anna, social entrepreneurship was the way to make her efforts systematic — and lasting.
