Subsidies for the Creation and/or Adaptation of Workplaces for Persons with Disabilities

The National Employment Agency (NAE) of the Republic of Moldova compensates employers 50% of costs incurred for creating or adapting a workplace for persons with moderate disabilities, and 75% for persons with severe or profound disabilities. The subsidy may not exceed ten national average monthly wages of the previous year per each created or adapted workplace. The subsidy is available to employers who create or adapt workplaces and hire unemployed persons with disabilities under an individual employment contract for an indefinite period or for a fixed term of at least 18 months, in accordance with Article 34 of Law No. 60/2012 on Social Integration of Persons with Disabilities. The program is available at the national level.
