The National Employment Agency (NAE) of the Republic of Moldova provides consulting, assistance, and support for unemployed persons wishing to start their own business. The subsidy covers 50% of the costs estimated by the unemployed person for initiating their own business and equipping the created workplace, but not exceeding ten national average monthly wages of the previous year. The list of subsidized startup expenses is established by the Government. The program is available upon request to unemployed persons registered in accordance with the law who are initiating entrepreneurial activity by creating their own workplace. It is available at the national level.
