Since 2008, Andrey has been in a wheelchair because of a spine injury in a car accident. Back then, he was 21, newly graduated from college, and was running his first business – a confectionary store in Tula. After the accident, Andrey returned to his hometown, where he was in rehabilitation for two years. Parallelly, he has been studying law at the local university. He is also trained as a specialist in working with young people.

Living an active life, including extreme sports, he decided to inspire other people with disabilities to participate in such activities too. Along with two other co-founders – extreme athletes – he launched a project called “Crazy Travel”.

Their company arranges trips for people who want to prove themselves in dangerous parts of the world. One of the spheres in which their company operates is inclusive extreme tourism, including mountain climbing all over Russia and the CIS countries. Their team has extensive experience in organising extreme trips for people with all types of disabilities – hearing and visual impairments, motor impairments and people in wheelchairs. Usually, their company organises about 16 ascents per season (5 months a year), of which at least one group includes people with disabilities.
