Free E-Learning Specifically for Social Enterprises: SENSES
SENSES is a free e-learning platform developed specifically for social enterprises – funded by the EU’s Interreg Danube Transnational programme and accessible at senses.mgfu.hu.
What sets this course apart from others: it is not based on general business topics, but on a needs assessment conducted among social entrepreneurs. The content has therefore been tailored to the knowledge gaps that actually arise in practice. The material was developed by experts from eight countries.
The course consists of an introduction to social entrepreneurship and six modules: developing a social business model (Social Business Canvas), marketing with a focus on online tools, sales and new customer acquisition, managing social enterprises, financial planning and long-term financial sustainability, and intellectual property protection. You can work through all modules or select individual ones based on your needs. After each module there is a quiz – anyone scoring at least 50 percent receives a certificate by email.
Participation is free of charge and registration is required.
