In the last few days filming video stories about persons with disabilities who have chosen the difficult path of self-employment and socially-oriented entrepreneurship took place in Moldova as part of the DISENEX+East project. The three stories selected by Asociatia MOTIVATIE din Moldova (Association Motivatie), the Moldovan partner of the project, have one thing in common – the incredible energy and willpower of people who decided to take their destiny in their own hands and not only overcome the standard set of limitations that complicate the life of a person with disability in today’s Moldova, but also create their own business.

DISENEX+East project is dedicated to professional integration of people with disabilities through their involvement in social entrepreneurship. The project will result in a series of motivational films, a selection of training courses on entrepreneurship skills and a database on national legislation on social entrepreneurship, benefits and other types of support for starting and running a socially oriented business.

The short films will present personal stories of people with disabilities who have started their own businesses, showing opportunities for self-realisation.
So far, filming has taken place both in Chisinau and in the Balti district.
